That picture is an actual TimeCube, btw, or at least part(*) of it, so not LMNC's DIY version.

(* there's a big 19" rack full of circuitry as well)
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

thoroughly enjoyed that!
didn't even really seem complicated.
reckon they could have gone for the 50 metre hose tbh, the mic they used picked up fsr more than i expected from their instore experiments.

interesting the original used the sm58 as the driver too, wouldn't expect that to put out much volume.

I wrote down a list of my wants and needs. I also picked the bottom synth, or synth I could do without to make space, the Pro3.

Finished writing up my study of Xaoc Drezno.

Since Drone Day is this Saturday, that'll kind of kick off a new round of actual music making for a while before I figure out what to write up next. A software synth? Another module? Strega? We'll see.

Not that far off from some random text messages we’ve been getting. Seems it’s the new scam?

By the way, nice one. I’m only in at 12 minutes, but sounds good.

Not bad for a gym teacher.

"A Trillion Voices" (Drone Day 2024)

Kind of a warmup for getting back into music making mode.

Hmmm... just checked out your drone vid 8) :tu: , and having seen the 3 comments there, I immediately 'sensed' that (for reasons known only to them) you are being stocked by harryupbabble's brothersfromanothermother. :hihi:
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

CABLES! :o :o

Ran cables.
Routed and rerouted cables.
Organized and disorganized cables.
Discovered cables, lost one then found it again.
Audio cables.. USB cables.. power cables.

Every. Damn. Place. Possible.

CABLES  :help:

I got a cheap little Bluetooth thermal label printer and made neater and easier to read labels for the power switches, level knobs and patch panel in my 3U rack.

(Probably going to reprint them on narrower tape and take more time making sure they're on straight. But for a first pass it's a big improvement over the previous labels. I'd used little index tab stickers and handwrote them, but unless I'm very slowly doing calligraphy, my writing is sloppy... plus they didn't stick very well to the fuzzy edge of the rack box.)
