The Scream very good. Buy now.

I've just spotted this.. our Distortion 1 is not discontinued at all ;)

Cheers,

Do you have that one house near you that some guy has been building on his own for years and years now with nothing happening for months and months, then one day you'll go by and see some new work has been done? There's one in my sister's neighborhood. The Scream is the plugin version of that house.

But in practical terms: The Scream lacks a manual, Andy wants to update the website, and I think he was going to add a lock to allow you to change mods without changing settings.

For some reason, I avoided this plugin (I don't know the reason). Time to fly.

Can it do Pyro's "knee" shaper which is supposedly a variable knee saturation? I really love Pyro's BIAS and FBK knobs.

Sir, this is a Wendy's! :hihi:

This isn't like Pyros. If comparing to an Audiority plugin, it's like Green Reaper.

The manual has to be a damn book now.

It is. The Winds of Winter.

Anybody happen to have the pack of presets Andy released quite a while ago? I seem to have lost all presets for The Scream and my preset directory is empty of any. Heck I don't even know if I can force it to go back to default settings (Reaper should allow it by using the "reset to factory default" but the mod section still says CUSTOM in various places).

I just want to return it to stock 808 or some known variant of it (TS-7 or whatever else).

EDIT: Never mind. Found it a few pages back, here's a link in case somebody else is looking for them.

Nah, I’ll wait. It’s no use to me in beta.
I’ve had too many bad experiences with indie devs wandering off into the wilderness and leaving products unfinished.

It is "finished" but not released.

Andy is a perfectionist. I'm 99%+ confident that The Scream is in better coding shape than the majority of plugins out there being sold, including many you probably have.
