Seqund discounted again at Plugin Boutique.
---
Plugin Boutique's promo mail made me notice Cong Burn Strokes (a playful, polyrhythmic, probabilistic, MIDI generating "sequencer, sampler, synthesizer & groovebox"), currently in its v3.13 iteration already yet no one seems to mention it here.

(That visual sequencing feature is alluring... I must resist... OK I give in)

Audio Damage has recently released Axon 3 and the sequencer part also got lots of upgrades for sending external MIDI:

Recently picked up Rhythmiser by Futurephonic. Great little random pattern generator, just the right degree of complexity while not ever being too difficult to program. Seems to be some latency but this is resolved by recording midi output. Plays nicely with Cubase.

Found some interesting Midi fx VST/AU plugins and for use in Kontakt. Currently on sale.
https://grumpymonkeyplugins.com/
They look like they would be easy to learn to use.
I would love to see all these apps run as VST’s.
I would love to see them as multi-touch capable and multi-touch friendly.
I would love to see them able to work with multiple keyboards.

Hey, Grumpy Monkey Developer here. I appreciate the mention.
Four of my plugins come with VST3/AU versions (and also include multiscripts with purchase):
-Roll Control (turns perc into rolls)
-Auto Vib (automatically moves your vibrato controller)
-X-Fade (performs crossfades between instruments & articulations)
-Niente (add particles to your Kontakt instruments)
Two are Kontakt multiscripts only at the moment:
-Particle Accelerator (particle engine)
-Scale Sweep (perform glissandos instantly with your mod wheel)
(Everything's currently on sale, priced in the $10-25 range).
Time-permitting, I'd like to make VST3/AU versions for those last two as well. It's the scale recognition feature that's holding things up for those.
I know folks are used to working with VST3/AU, and not used to Kontakt multiscripts. But you might be surprised to know that they can work with non-Kontakt instruments too (details in the below video). Additionally, they're stable across all DAWs.
And since most DAWs don't support third party midi fx inserts (Logic and Reaper are the only ones I'm aware of supporting it), it's the only practical way to use midi fx in most DAWs. In my experience, Kontakt multiscripts are a lot less fussy (no validation scanning, no Silicon Native, etc) and much easier to trouble shoot. I'd encourage giving Kontakt multiscripts a look.

It looks like my post with links to the freebies was deleted for some reason.
