As a registered WoS user I was expecting to be offered a free copy but have instead been offered a free 14 day trial . Is that what you meant by free or did I miss something?
Congratulations! Your Two notes account is now verified for the GENOME 14-Day Trial! Follow the Steps Below to Get GENOME and start building your dream rig!

My WoS license was automatically upgraded to a GENOME license. I just downloaded the software and authorized it.thecontrolcentre wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 7:58 pm As a registered WoS user I was expecting to be offered a free copy but have instead been offered a free 14 day trial . Now I see why this plugin still takes forever to load, they've just turned it into an internet connected store, which was obviously the plan all along, even though that was not how the plugin worked at launch.
The most recent update now has shopping cart icons littered throughout the plugin as you select components, and an "Add to Cart" button appears if you choose one of the new components. What a massive disappointment.

I think you can disable those, i.e. show only purchased content.
I honestly think it's pretty epic. Two Notes was always a bit stuck in a corner with their expensive but high quality cab module. It was great but you always needed some other preamp to run with it and and that point you usually had a pretty decent IR module built in. Genome is now a self-contained product and probably the best neural amp model preset host around. This is top-notch market analysis imo.

Anyone know how you can do this? It isn't so much a problem now as there are only a few irrelevant items with shopping baskets but I can see this becoming a real turn off as they add more and more paid for content.

Well, you can hide the dynirs you don't own so hopefully they can set up the rest to do the same.
