Generally i'm only going to edit the first post in this thread annually, but i've just added in some more freeware Impulse Response files that came out of another thread today.

You're the man, Mr.Pantsdown!
This has got to be the most comprehensive sound/sample/whatever list I've came across in years!

Those who can do maths and those who can't.

And one that I thought was there allready (did you remove it?):
http://www.waveform.dk/
Shared samples of all kinds, some rather tough to find ones, such as an Udu.

Awesome list!
A few questions/additions.
1. TapeOp.
It's a magazine on audio production that can be had for free, and they have a cool forum. There are also some free interviews and articles available only on their website. It leans a little more in the analog direction, but covers digital too.
http://www.tapeop.com/
http://messageboard.tapeop.com/
2. HomeRecording.com
Another good one for exchanging ideas with other home recordists.
http://www.homerecording.com/bbs/
3. I'm making a pure-HTML version of this list (today's version) for my own local bookmarkage. Shall I send it to you, Pantsdown666? The HTML is a little cleaner than you get posting here, and I'm adding jump links between sections and that sort of nonsense.

Hi Mods,
just tried to edit my first mega-post in this thread (replacing the list of Impulse Responses), but it's choking and i'm seeing the words "spam warning".
Am I at a word limit there ?
If it is, I've got the 2nd post "reserved" and can move a few things down there to make room ...
Will be gradually updating it over the next few months.
Ta,
Simon
