Harmonization video tutorial (was: My videos for RapidComposer)

I've made a new video for the RapidComposer workflow.
This time I've taken a short MIDI file from a piano accompaniment performance and reshaped it for using different chord progressions.
The presented workflow shows import without chord analysis, handling of a key signature change, later analysis, automatic segmentation, re-shaping the chords, generating random progressions and more.
The video is here: RapidComposer Tutorial - How to reshape a Piano Chord Accompaniment
Have fun!

Very cool, HiEnergy! I am going to send a tweet about this video.
I have to take care of the embarrassing issue when notes changed during converting them to relative. I don't know yet why it happened
Thanks!
Attila

Thank you, Attila.
So that note change issue is a bug? I thought it was me using RapidComposer wrongly.
My workaround was using Chromatic scales and reconforming the notes to Absolute form.
Perhaps a command for calculating chords without changing the notes to Realtive form would be a good thing (or is it already there and I just didn't discover it yet?)

Yes, this is most probably a bug. You did not do anything wrong. Conversion should not change any notes.
I spent the last hour trying to reproduce the notes changing but I could not. This drives me crazy. I edited the same notes, used the same scales, but nothing

My latest RapidComposer video shows you how to change scales in the course of a composition and have even a single chord use a different scale than the rest of the arrangement.
Watch it here: RapidComposer - Working with multiple scales in less than 5 minutes

Here's another video for RapidComposer, this time demonstrating Drag&Drop techniques for transferring a composition or parts thereof to Ableton Live

Thanks a lot for your appreciation, Attila!
My latest video shows the same Drag&Drop process for Cockos Reaper (it should be the same for every other DAW, too).

Despite the difficult times I've taken some older raw footage and put together a video dealing with the various settings in the harmonization dialog in RapidComposer. I don't explain the settings one by one, but show them by harmonizing the same melody over and over using different settings. This leads to totally different chord progressions being generated.
Watch the video here: RapidComposer - Working with Harmonization Settings.

This is the perfect presentation for what you can achieve with the "Add Chord Notes" variation.
Watching this video is strongly recommended!
Many thanks, HiEnergy!

Thanks for the nice words!
Guess next time I'm in the studio I might compose a short springtime tune using RapidComposer and put up a play-through of that.
Looking forward to the melody editor being integrated in the main line of RapidComposer.
