Sounds good to me.AlovesZ wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 2:29 am Would love to see digital recreations of some rare Prescription Electronics guitar pedals. Their Experience pedal (supposed to create the "reverse guitar" that Hendrix was able to produce in the studio (Castles made of sand solo) or their Outbox pedal, which was discontinued -- I think that would be really cool.

this idea might already exist, i don't know.
i am putting it here instead of at the 2021 dc wish list because the devs have less than a month until judgement day. maybe they could do it for the next dc challenge?
the idea:
i'll call it "daw project instruments randomizer".
you sort your instruments by folders.
you put all your bass vst instruments in one folder.
you put all your drum vst instruments in another folder.
and so on and so on. you do the hokey pokey. sorta, kinda.
the wished-for software looks at the different instrument folders of your current project and randomly picks a different instrument and saves those changes in a new project file. heck, maybe it could generate thousands of project files.
in my case, my daw is reaper, i could then listen to all that generated/randomized reaper projects one by one while at the loo or elsewhere, in the vicinity. maybe not the whole project but maybe 10 seconds of it?
how it would do that with all the different daws, i don't know.

Based on the past I guess the next KVR DC will be held either in 2023 or 2024.
