Thank you!

What's the CPU use like?

Wish there was a demo!

I don't want to miss the pre-release price though.

Its really quite nice, I have the usual multi-effect plugins, but this is a different kind
of beast. Where Infiltrator 2 might be your favorite night spot, this is more like fine
dining.

*Glitchy stuff is good too, though Infiltrator 2 might win out there in the long run
due to it's exceptional design.

CPU seems very good. :tu:

Thanks again! And that analogy actually kinda helps! I demoed Infiltrator 2 a couple months ago so it's kinda still in my head. I know that much of the time I thought it was a bit "too much". Decisions, decisions

No worries :tu:

Also I get it, for me the answer is simple of course, own them both. This 'was' a bit of a splurge for me tbh. I might have waited if not for the pre-sale price for sure.

Yeah, the "splurge" thing is my problem. I've been allowing myself to splurge for the last couple months and I think it might be time to rein it in. When I'm forgetting about stuff that I bought just a few weeks ago because I'm playing with something even newer it's probably time to stop

I am a fan of Brian and Absynth so just for these reasons I am considering getting Synestia for $79. The user reviews have been great but I remain the fence.

Decisions, decisions!

I just hope that there announce the end of the intro sale and with the minutes ticking away I will likely buy!

For anyone who's got the beta, can you tell us whether there is any MIDI note control over the sympathetic resonators, or are they just manually tuned to a static chord/scale?

I only got it yesterday and without really looking at the manual, I believe the answer is yes. :)

*At least to some degree, depending on how much control you're talking about.

No MIDI AFAIK. But you can modulate a lot of params, including global or individual « voice » transpose, pan etc

OK, thanks! I guess if the sympathetic section is envisioned as a box of drone strings, this approach kind of makes sense. Alas, the dream of having a playable effect version of Plasmonic will have to remain a dream for now.

You might have lots of fun playing with it :)
