processing live audio through cantabile

I am wanting to process guitar through vst plugins in Cantabile 2. I couldn't figure out how to route the audio input into a plugin or if it is even possible. Can anyone help? If you can just tell me that it's possible or not and a quick list of steps of how to route an audio input into a plugin, that would be great.

yes this is how I use Cantable for live guitar effects.
You have make sure your sound card is configured first with the proper inputs and outputs (see Configuring Cantible), then you have to tell each plugin in the rack where you want the ins and outs to go (see Plugin settings, Tools, Audio channels).
