... well I say new, I havent done much for months but this was something I wrote in Feb for my wife.
I wanted it to be beautiful and sensitive, rather than cliché and stereotypical - which if you know the usual cheesy bollocks that I come churn out, you'll know it was a tall order!
Anyway, here's 1'45's worth which is the essence of the track. Its kind of personal, but I'm pleased with it, and she liked it - so I thought I'd share it with you - see what you think... (go easy now...)

Hey Matt.. Nice to hear something from you...
I like it.. The rythm track is very good...
Strange, i've wrote a track for my wife, and i also use lots of strings.... Maybe that's cliché...

I just loved the sensitive piano and the light play with it. I think these kinds of songs are always special. Thanks for sharing this with usUnicon wrote:Anyway, here's 1'45's worth which is the essence of the track. I saw there was an entry in the contest from you too. Look forward to listening to that one.

Ha - maybe I just can't break that cliché barrier!
thanks Ixox. Have you uploaded your Song for Wife?!
I wouldn't mind hearing it.
btw checked out your Flute VSTi - am impressed, it sounds bloody good!
Hi Mystahr thanks for that - I layered that piano about 2/3 notes at a time as I am just not a keyboard player.
Hence the light feel i suppose.
Anyway - thanks, its good to be back into the swing of things a bit.
Cheers

The intro was great.
Nice groove, and the string stabs are a nice touch.
I say finish this and possibly have a 3rd party sing on the track

thanks MightyHero - is that an offer?!
If the track was to have vocals I'd imagine a female singer?
I think yeah it ight work however I'd have to choose the lyrics wisely - it has potential for an almighty cheese-jam of shame.

I'm glad you like my VST flute. Thanks...
