Universal SFZ part 2

I have added a different multisamples page that shows how to use the Wusik V9 Shared folder as a wrapper to hold the sound libraries of other instruments. Right now this uses Absynth, Dimension Pro and Rapture as examples.
http://westgatesounds.net/AnomalyVSTi/m ... ples2.html
As I note on the page, neither Absynth or Rapture can use the Wusik V9 files because they are either .flac or .WusikSound files.
Dimension Pro can use the flac files though....
So, I am going to start a new page doing the same thing but with Wusik V7 and slowly converting the entire Wusik sound library to SFZ/WAV. This way all of the instruments involved can use all of the sounds available.

Here is multisamples3:

This uses the Wusik V7 Wusikstation DATA folder to share instruments sound libraries with each other and with Wusik V9 and EVE 5.

That's a great system for putting all sfz/wav in one place (my Anomaly are in the top-level OSX folder- not the best). I would buy a batch utility to change preset paths to point to one place. You and Smolken are spearheading sfz standardization!

You can also add Kontakt into this, but there are pros and cons to doing so. A lot of Kontakt files are protected, with no access to the WAV files. And adding the huge amount of file in the Kontakt library slows the Wusik V7 search function when looking for missing files. In the end, I felt it better to leave Kontakt out of this.
In any case you can always use the Kontakt browser to load any of the sound files from the shared source.
I looked into adding TAL Sampler and downloaded the demo and some of the sound files, but they are also not WAV but protected. So it is pointless.
One thing that has always struck me as odd in this day of easy convenience is that things are never easy. SFZ/WAV can easily be a universal format for sounds, can be shared across all instruments that can either load SFZ or WAV and yet this is not really as widespread as it should be.
I am always looking for new instruments to add to this experiment. If anyone has any suggestions?

New instrument suggestions:
Versilian Chamber Orchestra Community Edition (nice and compact)
http://vis.versilstudios.net/vsco-community.html
Virtual Playing Orchestra
(A massive 'best of free' orchestras: VSCO, Sonatina, No Budget, Iowa)
http://virtualplaying.com/
No Budget Band
(They have an Orchestra, but also a Band!)
https://nbo.libreorchestra.net/instruments/band/
I agree that Kontakt should be separate, but FYI:
http://alpineproject.wixsite.com/main/libraries
(Its like a 'best of free' for Kontakt)
Standardised opcodes and preset/folder structure seem necessary steps for sfz to be universal. Versilian has an SFZ Converter, but it only automaps velocity, pitch and RR; maybe a more complete utility?

Thank you for that. I just downloaded all of them and will start looking into them tomorrow....

If you need a more powerful SFZ converter, Peter Eastman (a.k.a. peastman over on Scoring Central; the guy behind 'SSO 2.0') built a Python-based one as a contribution to VCSL (Versilian Community Sample Library); it's located in the 'Scripts' folder. As long as you know a little Python/programming, you should be able to get it working.
https://github.com/sgossner/VCSL/tree/sfz
It's pretty powerful- it can autotune, transpose, crossfade, normalize, remove silence at the beginning, and more.
(not to leave out that VCSL itself also contains 5 GB of samples as CC0 in .wav format)
