ES-9 Ubuntu Studio Set Up- No ES-9 Midi option in Config Tool

Hi there,

Tried using the html config tool as well as the windows config tool via WINE.

Whatever I do I don't seem to be able to access the MIDI in port on the ES-9. Hence I can't configure the device.

The MIDI out is always available in the config tool.

I have audio out on the ES-9 and the power and usb connection LED's are illuminated. The config tool only offers MIDI through port 0. I used studio controls within Ubuntu studio and had some ALSA channels available but none seemed to work. I'm on my third MIDI cable....

Can anybody shed any light on the subject? There seems to be very little documentation about setting up Ubuntu studio and Setting up the ES-9 in Ubuntu Linux.

Be great to get this up and running!
