This feature is available on GS, is there similar here?
There are thread topics I'm no longer concerned with and others that I check daily. I would like those I'm no longer concerned with to not appear below.
search.php?search_id=egosearch
Is it possible?

Forum hamburger menu -> My Forum Subscriptions
Check the relevant thread box, scroll down to the bottom of list and click Unwatch Marked.

I don't think The Noodlist meant subscription to topics.
There is this thread in which I merely put a (snarky) comment. It goes on and on but I'm really not interested in that one-man-show ego thread continuing month after month.
My KVR browsing habit is that I go straight to latest-posts/index.php?mode=mylt
That stupid thread is marked yellow, because eons ago I have put a remark in it. I want that yellow marking undone, but that's not possible.
Similar to OP's request?

The text on the forum subscription page says "Below is a list of forums and topics you are subscribed to. You will be notified of new posts in either. To unsubscribe mark the forum or topic and then press the Unwatch marked button." but I think that equally applies to 'watched forums', which as I understand it means anything you may have posted in.
I haven't tried to remove myself from any of my watched forums because I'm not usually making snarky remarks, except for this one which is mildly snarky
I think it might be worth a try though ?

I have a 'watch' list right under my (empty) subscription list - you don't see one of those ?

Ah right. But nope:
I'm just talking about the visual eye candy because I've made a post in the thread:
