Missing in action: SynthMaster2 FX – VST3 version

My query is to do with the whereabouts of the VST 3 version of the SynthMaster2 FX plug-in.

During my recent SynthMaster 2.9.16 installation, I chose to instal both AU and VST 3 plug-ins on my M2 Mac and only VST 3 plug-ins on my Windows 10 PC. As VST 2.4 plug-ins have been deprecated, I don't see the point in adding them, as my host applications are mostly up-to-date and, in January 2022, Steinberg released a timeline for this topic stating:

"...within the next 24 months, Steinberg's host applications and plug-ins across macOS and Windows will offer VST 3 compatibility only."

Those 24 months have elapsed, as we're way past January 2024 now.

After my SynthMaster2 installation, on my Mac I see two AU plug-ins installed:
SynthMaster2.component – the main virtual instrument
SynthMaster2FX.component – the variant allowing realtime audio processing from other sources.

And on my Mac I get only one VST 3 plug-in installed:
SynthMaster2.vst3 – there is no FX version here.

Likewise, on the Windows PC there is only SynthMaster2.vst3 installed.

So, some questions:

• Is there a SynthMaster2FX.vst3 plug-in?

• Is it only available as a deprecated VST 2.4 plug-in? i.e. SynthMaster2FX.vst

• Or is there a VST 3 version (a wrapper of sorts) which has dependencies on the earlier VST plug-in, and can only be accessed when both VST 2.4 and VST 3 plug-ins are installed?

• Am I expected to instal deprecated VST junk to access the FX version of this plug-in?

Whatever the reason, will this be addressed by SynthMaster 3? I've installed the current alpha (so far, so good) and there is no FX plug-in here either (for AU or VST), but it is early days with this version so that's probably not too surprising. A standalone SM3 Mac version would be great too.

As I'm new to SynthMaster, I must say that the PDF manual desperately needs revising, as there is zero documentation on configuring the FX plug-in (KV331's YouTube channel is your best bet) and its VST references are for v2.4 plug-ins throughout. Hence, it is difficult to know what is to be expected with regard to a custom installation when opting for VST3 plug-ins. Incidentally, the Audio Units SynthMaster 2 FX plug-in works as expected.
