Baby Audio acquires Denise Audio

Baby Audio has officially acquired all assets of Denise Audio, effective from September 1, 2023, promising new developments and changes for users of both brands.

For existing Baby Audio users, the acquisition will not bring about any immediate changes. Baby Audio will continue to operate independently and maintain its unique brand identity. Your favorite plugins and products will remain unaffected.

Denise Audio users, on the other hand, can look forward to several enhancements. In a bid to improve the user experience, a new website, deniseaudio.com, has already been launched. Additionally, all Denise Audio plugins have been rebuilt for full compatibility with the latest operating systems.

In the coming months, new products based on the existing Denise Audio catalog and DSP will be unveiled. Price points have been streamlined to ensure consistency and transparency. If you are an existing plugin owner, you can download the updated plugin installers for free on Denise Audio's website, while revamped products will be entirely new releases.

Baby Audio and Denise Audio will maintain their independence externally, preserving their unique profiles and user bases. However, behind the scenes, both brands will explore opportunities that mutually benefit them. This includes expanding research and development (R&D) capabilities. Operating two brands will provide the necessary bandwidth to pursue experimental products, enhancing the experience for users of both brands.

Former Denise Audio CEO Rob Stegeman said in a statement:

We started Denise Audio in 2018 and it's been a great journey. But after 5 years in the plugin industry, I wanted to pursue other passions (more on that to be announced soon). This meant we began looking for a new owner of Denise Audio who would carry on - and improve upon - our work with a respect for the user base and new ideas for the future. To me, Baby Audio was the perfect buyer as I've always admired their attention to detail and product quality. I'm sure they will continue the journey for Denise Audio and take the brand further. I'm very happy with the deal and excited to share what I have coming in the near future.
