Soundiron releases Hyperion Percussion: Marimba for Kontakt

Soundiron has announced the release of Hyperion Percussion: Marimba. This library is the first instrument in their Hyperion orchestral percussion series. Soundiron says:

To achieve true concert play-ability, we've captured every nuance of this full-scale Adams Alpha 5-octave rosewood marimba with Apex frame (C2 – C7). This virtual marimba library includes 4 mallet types, with 10 round-robin variations and 12 dynamic layers per note.

In this solo edition of the Hyperion Marimba, it includes an extremely close, wide stereo position with four mallet types. Each bar is centered on individually, providing detail, clarity, and robust presence. This allows for a fully-customizable stereo field over the key-range, and the user can freely position the instrument on the soundstage to select the ideal room, hall, algorithmic reverb, or environmental impulse with the signature Space tab.
