Arturia releases V Collection 3.0

-
Arturia

Arturia has announced the release of V Collection 3.0, a classic collection of ten software instruments.

V Collection 3.0 includes analogue synthesizer and classic drum machine sounds that have defined modern electronic music-making. It includes nine synthesizers, one electric piano, and 30 classic drum machines, plus the Analog Laboratory synthesizer, offering hundreds of musical scenes and thousands of presets conveniently organised by instrument and genre.

Joining Analog Laboratory in V Collection 3.0 is the recently-released Wurlitzer V EP 200 A electric piano emulation and 64-bit versions of Arturia's Modular V, CS-80V, Mini V, ARP2600 V, Prophet V, Jupiter-8V, and Oberheim SEM V soft synths. They include 400-plus presets apiece and editing is easy, thanks to familiar-looking user interfaces. All these legendary keyboards can also be accessed through the unique Analog Laboratory interface, making speedy editing even easier.

Rounding off the V Collection 3.0 package are 30 classic analogue and digital drum machine emulations spanning the influential '60s, '70s, and '80s eras, all accessible through the unique interface of SPARK Vintage. More than 1,300 pre-programmed patterns are available while the performance features of Arturia's SPARK Creative Drum Machine controller's integrated software appeals to the most demanding beat-makers.

V Collection 3.0 can be purchased from the Arturia online store for €399.00 / $399.00 or any dealer in a boxed version for €429.00 / $449.00 (MSRP).

Another electric piano emulation. Can developers stop with this now? I think 400 electric piano emulations is enough.

If you own other Arturia products you can get a huge discount on the V Collection 3.0 as a download-only product. My coupon code, for example, gave me pricing of $199 US. Sadly though many users are complaining that the coupon code that showed up in their Arturia.com user account does not actually work when you try to redeem it during the checkout process. Arturia so far seems oblivious to the issue.

The coupon gave me $300 off, so I guess the total would be $149 or so. It also had a shipping charge when I just wanted a download. I canceled the order as I have all the contents (I think) except for the Wurlitzer electric piano and I have a lot of those already (as I imagine we all do).

More piano emulations are not only not needed, they've been done at least as well for years. How bout some playable synths like an Oberheim Matrix 12, or Yamaha SY-99.. something not yet in the soft realm.
