discoDSP has announced the release of Corona Synth v6.0 and two Solidtrax banks.
New in Corona 6.0:
- New 3D Rendered Skin: discoDSP Corona 6.0 now boasts a 3D rendered skin. Additionally, to cater to various user preferences and workflows, they have introduced both dark and light themes for optimal visual comfort.
- Native ARM Support: discoDSP ported Corona to macOS Universal Binary, ensuring native ARM Apple Silicon support, including all DSP.
- 64-bit Builds Everywhere: This includes Standalone, Audio Units, VST2, and VST3 versions.
- AAX Universal Binary: Inclusion of the AAX Universal Binary Build in, ensuring enhanced compatibility and performance for all Pro Tools users.
- Enhanced Standalone App: For Windows users, added ASIO support, and for Linux enthusiasts, JACK support is now available.
- Bundled Expansions: The Corona Wave Expansion and Corona Sound Expansion are now included with the registered installer with 256 presets across 3 banks.
- Framework and GUI Updates: Implemented a major framework update, enhanced the GUI, and added features like HiDPI support, GUI size detection based on system screen size, and automatic dark/light theme switching based on system theme.
- Licensing Made Easy: Activate your license online via the plug-in or standalone app.
- Organized Settings: Moved the settings location to Documents > discoDSP > Corona folder for easier access.
Price: The upgrade for existing Corona 5 owners is $29 and available in the discoDSP User Area.
Additionally, discoDSP has two new Corona sound banks from Solidtrax in their shop:
- Corona Solidtrax Evolver: $19.00, the Evolver Bank has 64 presets, including 14 pads, 12 leads, 9 basses, and more. Each preset is designed for a consistent experience.
- Corona Solidtrax Evolved: $9.99, the Evolved Sound Bank contains 51 presets suitable for various genres. This includes 15 drum presets, 9 lead sounds, 7 basses, and more. The presets are made for your compositions.
