EastWest releases Quantum Leap's Colossus & RA

EastWest has released Quantum Leap Colossus and Quantum Leap RA.

Colossus is a Kompakt based General MIDI (GM) compatible 32GB virtual instrument that covers all of the basic musical genres, the way a keyboard workstation attempts to, except Colossus offers much higher quality instruments and dynamics than any keyboard available today.

RA is a Kompakt based "rare and ethnic" sound library plug-in. RA was born a few years ago, as a sample library called "Rare Instruments". All of the sounds from Rare Instruments are included in RA, but this only represents approximately one-tenth of the content. The other ninety percent of RA was recorded at Ocean Way studios in Hollywood.

RA and Colossus are available for Windows XP and MacOS X in VST, DX, AU and RTAS plug-in formats and cost US$995 each.
