H. G. Fortune releases The Dreammachine

-
HG Fortune

H. G. Fortune has announced the release of The Dreammachine, a self-running synthesizer machine that can be transposed too so it is ideal, for example, to provide backings of complex atmospheres and soundscapes for live performances. The concept of The Dreammachine is based on a very slow running LFO being used for wave-sequencing and modulations of the resonant colorizers.

The DreammachineThere are three parts: Bottom/Bass, Back/Pad and Sparkles covering the lower, low-mid and upper-mid frequencies. Each part has got a 24-step sequencer for 100 selectable waveforms to be played in succession. The currently playing waveform and the next in the pipeline are displayed and can be altered temporarily without affecting the sequence list. There is a dedicated Lazy button for the waveforms and a LoopLazy button to get a new set of waveforms automatically after the sequence has finished the 24th step and returns to step 1. Four slow LFOs plus two conventional LFOs and an S&H serve to modulate the resonant colorizers for further sound changes.

Pricing & Availability

The Dreammachine is available for Windows as a VST instrument plug-in. It is currently available for the introductory price of €79.
