Homegrown Sounds releases "Kosmology Dissonance" for Kontakt and "Starburst" for Iris with Intro Offers
Homegrown Sounds has announced the release of Kosmology Dissonance for Native Instruments Kontakt and Starburst for iZotope Iris.
Kosmology Dissonance for Kontakt 5
Dissonance takes the Kosmology Sequencing System into darker regions compared to previous releases. There are 200 wild, boisterous and clangy samples to discover crazy loops whilst wave/sample start sequencing. This collection is perfect for creating endless unique loops for use in all genres of electronic music.
Kosmology is inspired by modular based sequencers with the aim of providing 8 completely distinct multi-sequencers which can be switched in real-time using 8 keys on your MIDI keyboard. A Kosmology release includes the sequencing capabilities combined with a set of 200 sampled instruments which form the basis of its character. It mimics a classic dual oscillator synth structure in its design with complete control over all parameters, and is also capable of wave sequencing the instruments. Although Kontakt is known more as a sample preset plug-in, Kosmology is akin to a hardware Groovebox with onboard sounds to sequence and manipulate in almost infinite ways.
If you are new to Kosmology you can get FreeFall for free.
Kosmology Dissonance is priced at $50 but is available for an introductory price of $35 throughout August.
Starburst for Iris
Also released is the 4th Homegrown collection of pads for iZotope Iris. Starburst IR provides 110 pads for iZotope Iris using the Starburst sample collection as building blocks. Instruments are constructed using 1-3 samples and take full advantage of the spectral features of Iris and most have Aftertouch assigned to the Filter Cutoff. The intention was to provide musically useful pads full of texture and movement. The Starburst samples were designed using an Access Virus TI synthesizer.
Starburst IR is priced at $25 but available for $18 throughout August. There is also currently a sale on other Iris products which ends on the 4th August.
