Spectrasonics has updated Stylus RMX to v1.0.8.
New MIDI Learn features in Utility menu:
- Added "MIDI Learn Inverted", which reverses the polarity of the MIDI control: high turns the parameter down and low turns the parameter up.
- Added "MIDI Unlearn All", which clears all MIDI learn assignments.
- Renamed "MIDI Unlearn" to "MIDI Unlearn One", which is used for clearing the assignment of a single control on one part.
- Added "MIDI Learn Clone", which takes all assignments on part 1/MIDI channel 1 and clones them onto the other parts: part 2/MIDI channel 2, part 3/MIDI channel 3, etc.
- Renamed "Revert Edit Group" to the more correct "Deactivate Edit Group" on the edit group menu.
- Renamed "Assign all slices to Main" to "Clear all edit group assignments in Element" in the edit group ASSIGN menu.
- Edit Groups are now Automatically activated/selected upon creation.
- Added Create Edit Group function for groove menu MIDI mode, which creates an edit group for the most recently played groove (using the name of that groove) and puts all the slices of that groove into that edit group.
- Fixed bug where GUI was not updating properly when selecting an element by default with "Settings" turned on when choosing a sound directory or suite.
- Implemented workaround to eliminate conflict with Quicktime on Windows.
- Fixed bug where redundant MIDI learn assignments were created when saving a multi.
- Clean up MIDI drag files upon startup.
- Display busy cursor when loading large suites.
- Display dB units for gain parameters.
- Handle memory exhaustion more gracefully by displaying "Out of Memory" message in value display.
This update also contains a new version of the default.mlt_rmx file, the multi that is loaded by default when you start Stylus RMX. The old version had an incorrect MIDI learn assignment of modulation wheel on part 3 mixer level, which caused it to reset when the sequencer would play. Replace the old version of this file in your Spectrasonics/SAGE/Stylus RMX/Patches/defaults folder with this version.
