Spitfire Audio releases "Hans Zimmer Percussion" Drum Sample Library for Kontakt Player
Spitfire Audio has announced the release of Hans Zimmer Percussion, a new drum sample library for cinematic percussion.
Featuring the ensembles and solo instruments used by Hans Zimmer in his blockbuster scores, Spitfire Audio have drawn upon his years of creativity and studio experimentation to compile all you'll need to get started in epic drum composition. From tombeks to taikos, playing from whisper quiet to thunderously loud, they've worked alongside his Grammy Award-winning team (including engineer Geoff Foster) to capture the highest quality recordings in the same studio with the same players, all mixed and produced by the man himself.
Hans Zimmer Percussion can be purchased and digitally downloaded (as 48.5 GB of uncompressed .WAV files, featuring 12,225 samples) for an introductory promo price of £259.00 GBP (inc. VAT) / $299.00 USD / €299.00 EUR (inc. VAT) until October 26, 2017 — rising thereafter to an MSRP of £349.00 GBP (inc. VAT) / $399.00 USD / €399.00 EUR (inc. VAT).
Hans Zimmer Percussion needs Native Instruments' free Kontakt Player (5.6.8+) — included in the purchase — to run as a fully NKSTM (Native Kontrol Standard) supporting plug-in instrument for Mac OS X or Windows.
