SynthFont has been updated to v0.9.9.1.
New features:
- When editing the loop for a stereo audio sample, saving the new loop would also change the loop for the linked sample. This is now changed. Thus, you can now set the loop point for the left sample to something else than for the right sample.
- In previous versions when a VST instrument was used several times – only one instance was created for all tracks. This is now an option. You can thus create a new instance for each track, if you want.
- The Default SoundFont: The very basic SoundFont SynthGMS.sf2 is no longer included in the distribution. Instead, SynthFont will look for and offer Microsoft's GM.DLS, if available.
Bug fixes:
- SynthFont did not work if you had very restricted Windows XP user rights.
- In Wave Edit: playing linked files as stereo did not work - mono sound was produced. Also, defining loop points for only one of the stereo linked samples would cause a crash when playing.
- When using several VST instruments, only the last one was actually played.
- VSTSynthFont would sometimes crash when used in Cakewalk (through a VSTi-to-DXi adapter).
