Zynewave have updated Podium to v1.2. The following new features have been added:
- Surround mixing with support for up to 32 channels in wave files, VST plugins and mixer busses.
- Surround channel meters are grouped according to speaker arrangement and indicated by miniature speaker icons.
- Included a surround example project in the installer.
- Dragging a collapsed group track will move the entire group of tracks.
- When dragging tracks the group level can be set by positioning the mouse over the track headers.
- The curve editor background is painted with an outline of any audio or note sequences that are being automated.
- Grid lines in the curve editor reflects the resolution of the controlled parameter.
- Parameter values are written next to the gridlines and current event value is written below the event handle.
- Added pencil-tool buttons for setting curve edit mode to either bar, line or spline mode.
- Holding the control key while drawing curve events will set the value to the default for the parameter.
- Minor redesign of graphics in sequence editors.
- Minor usability enhancements to the Podium user interface.
- Bug fixes in the VST plugin support, concerning tempo sync and plugin editor UI refreshing.
An updated demo version is available.
