My go-to pre on synth bass and leads! It adds beautiful warm saturation while enabling to slightly alter brightness.

Simply no software comes closer to the real thing than this plugin (and I tested all that is currently available). The parameters thoroughly reproduce the original behaviour, while v2 added more possibilities. A bit heavy on the CPU, but for a reason.
Read ReviewHaving so much fun with this one.
Very versatile, incredible range of sounds and now quite complete if you ask me.
Can be smooth and subtle as well. Very silky. (Love the WARM algo).
Also great to have negative values in the envelope follower for pumping fx.
Thank you for the MKII, superb.

This is great Echorec emulation, probably the best from three Echorec-like-vst plugins I have. It only lacks scallable GUI, otherwise perfect. Worth the money.

I own a couple vintage versions of the muff pedal and an expensive clone of this specific model, and for a digital emulation this sounds great. It really captures the sound and dynamics in pleasing way. I had a lot of fun going through my DI into this pedal and then to a th-u amp emulation. I highly recommend this if you want to add an authentic fuzz sound to your digital arsenal.

I must admit that I never have been a big fan of any Tube Screamers (independent of the version), although I liked the SD-1 to some extent. So I modified a real SD-1 to more bass and exchanged the silicone diodes to LED's, which made a much better sounding, more dynamically reacting pedal out of it.
The Green Reaper, especially in 316 and LAFF LED mode is the first pedal, which comes close to this sound.
I really like the idea of implementing differently modded versions / circuits, and they all sound good, very much depending on individual likes and with which other equipment you want to connect the pedal.
Also very helpful I find the global control section, especially the "to amp" switch and the "mix" control, which allow better adjustment.
The pedal also seems to work and harmonize well with some of my favorite amp sims, which is not always the case. Some gear sounds great alone or in specific combinations, but also can make things worse in other ones.
I usually don't use overdrive pedals very much, but this one seems to be able of improving the sound into a direction I like.

I personally love it, and keep returning for it whenever I need an "grainy" effect- it has beautifull, lush, stuttery, tonal grain presets- not too many, not too few, really a great selection and diversity. Also not CPU Intense. Tweaking is not that easy, somehow, I never got my head around it, even if everything is clearly labelled and all knobs are visible. But I am very happy with the given presets- for the price, one of the best grain VST on the market, if you just search something you can slap in your track and try out a few creative, musical options fast that are not too glitchy (like with most grain vsts).

Oktaver 82 is a little very useful tool to obtain a fantastic bass sound. You have a few presets that complete.
the product. Little price big satisfaction.
