Loopmasters officially launched early in 2003 with the aim of producing flexible sample libraries for producers and musicians who required top quality playing from seasoned professionals to integrate into and inspire their music. Our challenge is to provide you with the best samples and music software that money can buy, so far so good.
Loopmasters Studio HQ is based in Brighton, England, a south coast town with a healthy music scene, and the producers that work on our material are of the highest quality, and come from all over the world - if you feel you are a top flight sampling pioneer we would love to hear from you! - enjoy your music...

Khords is one of the most innovative tools I have seen in terms of stimulating creativity and inventiveness, I love the incredible layers, sounds and textures that are an open door to the flow of musical ideas.
It has some edges to refine, if you are looking for a traditional sampler with the typical resources for editing, transpose, pitch tools, edit of sounds, this is not for you. But In smart and Adventurous hands the apparent disadvantages become very positive points.
Even if its "vintage" mode of playing the samples, Khords own has an innate charm. Khords could be improved vastly with Time Tone Stretch and Transpose, and an option for formant shifting. Also It would be fantastic if the transposition section could be automated with MIDI CC, as is all the rest of the commands and controls.
Khords still has a lot of potential to get afloat in a new version, but even as it was born, it is an awesome Tool that will provide your musical brain enough magic to create without limits.
This exceeded my expectations immensely. I just wanted something to help me sort out and access my sample collection and was quite dubious about it's ability to do this whilst synching with my DAW.
The whole subscribe & install process was quite simple too. I had the whole thing up and running sorting out my sample bank in no time. The included LoopCloud Drum has turned out to be a very useful addition to my work flow, and, coupled with the freebies I'm finding my productivity is going through the roof.
I wasn't especially planning on subscribing after the trial period initially but I soon changed my mind, even though most of my music production is non-loop based.
This is the worst money I've ever spent on a VST instrument. Most of the patches are unusable except in one key or at one tempo (your choice). That's right, there is no time/pitch manipulation here beyond playing the samples faster as you go up the keyboard. I just can't imagine that anyone who's ever used a computer to make music actually designed this. Total amateur hour. A must to avoid. Is this a hundred characters yet?
