These sound pretty good from the demos. I especially like the Minimax. I've read the manual and am I right that it is mono-timbral? I'm gathering this because there is no discussion of mult-timbral operation. Seems a shame with 12 fat voices.
I've been thinking of offloading some of the processing to a hardware box lately. I don't need the knobs if the software is good. About the only other thing I can think of is getting an old Matrix 1000 on eBay.
Any other comments or recomendations?

Thanks. The sounds are very nice. I was very impressed with the demos on the Creamware site. I think I've deturmined that they are monotymbral. Too bad. The Minimax sounds so good that I will probably have to get it. The rack is about the price of some of the higher end softsynths.
