hi chris, please uninstall and reinstall. do not move folders.

Post

Obscurium install preset on C/user/Onedrive/documents.
But cant find preset when oppen DDL or Standalone aplication.
I test change the Onedrive/documents folder (renaming ) and reistall.
Obscurium insist creating this folder on new installation.
It's frustrating and losing inspiration.
Dont understand why profesional developpers as Sugar Bytes dont lets open install options for users.
Any sugerence?

Hi musiconacento,

sorry to hear that! Actually, presets should be in:
\Users\YOURLOGINNAME(your home folder)\Documents\Sugar Bytes\Obscurium\

If you are familiar with the Windows registry, could you please look at the Obscurium key?
Click the windows key + r. Then type regedit and press enter.
Then browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sugar Bytes\Obscurium
Please right click on the Obscurium folder in the registry, choose export, save this file and send it to support[@]sugar-bytes.de or via PM so we can investigate. Any hint will be helpful.

Anyway, the easiest way would be to uninstall Obscurium by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel or via the unins000.exe in the application folder of Obscurium.

Then please delete the Obscurium (not the whole Sugar Bytes) folder in the registry.

After that and before reinstalling please restart your computer! That will make sure that the registry will be rewritten upon installation.

While installing please also make sure to install Obscurium on the User account (with admin rights!) you will work with your DAW afterwards. You may also check the permissions of your Documents folder. The logged in user needs read & write access.

This should hopefully fix it.

Sorry for the trouble!

Best,
Nadine
