zynaptiq unmix drums installer does not replace previous version - Windows 10 Home

I'm only putting this here as a sanity check for somebody else if they search for this.
The Unmix Drums installer won't overwrite old versions, at least not on Windows 10 Home.
It's possible that it doesn't look in alternate folders for the old version, but in any permutation I tried, the 2023 installer would not overwrite the 2017 version.
It was necessary for me to search for the outdated dll and delete it by hand, and then run the installer. Searching relevant folders for "unmix" should bring it up. Your DAW must be agreed with the installer regarding the folder, naturally.
I had contacted zynaptiq via web form, and they offered no assistance.
