Andy is fantastic at DSP..
(Translation: he has 'disappeared' before... I don't think Consistent Customer Service is his strong suit, but he sure knows his DSP)

He also hasn’t logged into KVR since the 10th. I was just about to purchase The Scream, but this has made me decide to return to my original plan of waiting until it’s out of beta.

Ah, I see. Didn't know that. As someone that has a tendency to occasionally "disappear" in my own life, I can sympathize. But, the crucial difference being I don't run my own company.

Yes, it is a weird thing that someone who has been insanely good at audio DSP does not have time to engage with KVR login or the forum every day. Makes sense. Totally.
He should log in at least once a day into KVR to pursue sales conversion rates and establish the "legitimacy" of his own brand because whaddya knows he might be a new developer not to be trusted with the stability or life cycle of his products which are super stable for years even in beta stage. (wth?).
And when you think twice it totally makes sense because he probably became an expert at audio DSP by listening and spending time in the KVR forum with a KVR armchair product specialists who have several degrees in Youtube shorts.
Seriously, what do you think? That top-quality audio DSP developers became what they are by coincidence? You know research and development can not be poured right? It needs dedication, expertize, and focus which almost exclusively does not exist in public forum places.
What is next? Do we monitor Urs's from U-he login time?

I get what you're saying, however...
The FAQ on Cytomic.com says they do license transfers. The automated email you receive when you contact support says they typically get back to you within 24 hours.
I absolutely do not want to turn this thread into bashing Andy but I think I'm not wrong in asking after Andy and wondering what gives after nearly 3 weeks of no communication.
Now that I know the likely reason behind the delay I will leave it at that and hope everyone does the same going forward.

I asked Andy a question about the product in this thread on the 10th and never got a response. Other users are also reporting a lack of response for support requests.
I simply don't want to purchase a product where I may need to interact with the developer to receive my license or resolve unforeseen purchasing issues while the developer is currently unresponsive to support requests and other queries.

My experience with Andy/Cytomic has been good. When I found a bug in The Drop Andy replied in under 2 days and released an updated version that fixed the bug within 4 days.

can confirm, Andy didnt reply for about 2-3 weeks now... i dunno how responsive he is normally. maybe something happened who knows. but this is always a concern if a company is run by mabye 1 guy? and the plugins need online activations. i stay sceptical.

Maybe there's something wrong with his email system. I had this problem also with another developer earlier, where they didn't notice themselves, that some emails were not forwarded correctly.
That he doesn't read here is no sign for support activity imo.

I am just guessing of course, but I wouldn't be surprised this is when he is most productive DSP wise and just needs to lock himself away doing that without 'distractions'..
Just a guess of course.
