Is it possible to import Scala (scl) tuning files to Kontakt 4 or 5, and if so how does one go about it?
Thanks!

I don't think you can.
What you can do is to manually edit the values (cents of each one of the notes and name of the scale you want to use) in the tuning script that comes with Kontakt. Then save it with another name as your own preset or presets.
Open the Scala files with NotePad to see the data.

Thanks for the tip. A bit tedious perhaps but that would work.
I appreciate your help.

Borealius, perhaps I could help - consult with me off-list and perhaps I could work up a translation for you to skip the tedium. Send me a .scl file and let me see what I could do.

Hey from literally a decade later: I need exactly this but the site is down, do you still have the files?jackmazzotti wrote: ↑Mon Aug 11, 2014 9:26 pm converts .scl to kontakt scripts
