That limiter is very forgiving even for large GR.

Voxengo Elephant is quite similar.

TB Barricade is a close second.

Oh man, I worked out of a place that had the whole Massey line on their PT rig several lifetimes ago, and once I discovered them I put them on everything! I would throw money at him today if he ported them the VST3, as I haven't owned a PT setup in many years. The 2007 had a vibe and it was really good! Had no idea he was still updating them to this day! Probably the only AAX only developer. All of his plugins are stupendous!

I'm a committed toneboosters fan and use Barricade4 all the time. It's terrific but I've never found it to have the mojo of some other brick wall limiters, like the 2007. I guess I need to root around more in the compressor section emulations. I've tried a few and they didn''t do anything for me, and I preferred it with them off, but I didn't give them much of a chance.

Crysonic plug-ins. Very unknown, but e.g. Spectralive is mystical, but very CPU-heavy.

NewB is a good bass enhancer. It sounds far more natural than e.g. a Waves plug-in.

I used to try Spectralive on dull microphone takes (where the microphone has been misdirected), out of the tools (eq, compressors, ...) available it works best for healing bad quality audio.

Gee, yes, I'd surely be a billionnaire by now if I had only used different plug-ins! Except not!

For me the Nomad factory bundle is the one I'm loving

Always read reviews.
Yeah I know it was a hazy company, and the plug-ins were quite unoptimized for paid plug-ins, but I haven't found anything comparable in terms of sound. The company also seems to have disappeared.

So my opinion differs. I think Spectralive and newB were great plug-ins.

Maybe https://www.kvraudio.com/product/mpolys ... production is a replacement.

I didn't say they weren't good plugins, just there was quite a bit of drama about them way back in the day.
