ABOUT
99sounds Loop Player is a generic loop player for NI Kontakt based on the custom instrument from “99sounds Cinematic Loops”.
I admire the work that was done with this custom Kontakt instrument, and the purpose of this package is to make this player available for creative loop sequencing using Kontakt.
The loop player interface has the following features customized for loop manipulation and control:
- Bitcrusher, samplerate, overdrive and saturation control
- Rotary and delay effects
- Pitch control (C0-B0) sets tuning in semitones)
- Low-pass and high-pass filter w. resonance
- Step volume gate
- ADSR envelope
- Reverb control
Kontakt 5 instrument with custom scripted interface.
Requires the full version of Kontakt to assign samples to the player.
This package does not contain any audio samples or loops.

INSTALLATION & USAGE
Unzip the contents into a designated directory with a loop library. In Kontakt, browse to the directory, and open the “99sounds Loop Player - 00 init.nki” file.
To assign loops to keys from C1 and up, follow the instructions in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkzBVuoIWf8
Make sure to set the BPM for each loaded loop in the grid section of the Wave Editor.
When you have assigned the desired loops, save the instrument as a new .nki file in the same directory.
To change the color variation of the user interface, edit the “99sounds – script.txt” file and change the value of the string: $INST_WALLPAPER_ID
CREDITS
The original 99sounds loop player is programmed and designed by Frank "Xenox" Neumann and Alexander Forse and made available as a free download on 99sounds.org. All credits go to them.
I made minor graphical modifications to the GUI background, including 6 color variations, to make the player well suited for generic loop sequencing.

BONUS CONTENT
99sounds Mini Player is a light-weight sample player for NI Kontakt provided by Tudor Nastase (aka Evoke). This player is included in several 99sounds sample packs, and I merely altered the wallpaper to match the color variations of the loop player.
To change the color variation of the user interface, rename one of the included wallpaper files to Wallpaper.png, and put it in the main directory.
ENJOY!
