I have ubuntu bionic, and i succesfully installed bitwig studio (the demo). I set up jack and a alsa midi bridge. Everything works fine, until I plug in my midi keyboard (an akai mpk mini 2). Bitwig doesn't recognize it, I add a generic midi controller in the settings, in the midi input it sees my keyboard, and I can select it, but if I try to play something bitwig doesn't. I tried using the keyboard in lmms and it worked. Inside bitwig I tried using the computer keyboard, and it worked.
Inside cadence I see al jack connections, I see the audio bitwig connection, but I don't see any midi input for bitwig (even if I make cadence show alsa midi as well). I see my keyboard's midi output.
I got no clue what to do, could you please help me?

Did you switch on the liitle speaker icon for monitoring?
