Kinesis
https://youtu.be/D-j_1K66hPo
128 sounds by Bryan Lake a.k.a. Sound Author focussing on timbral movement. Organic grooves, snappy generative arpeggios, evolving sequences and lush ambient pads.
The concept was to create sounds that rhythmically "dance around each other" when layered, avoiding obvious repetition. Bryan makes good use of the version 2.1 features here: The extra filter modes are great for phaser effects and bizarre resonances, and the Shape Sequencer's new "Halt" option turns it into a kind of modulation mapper.
All Kinesis presets have XY pad control, and NKS audio previews are included.

And some impression:

Enjoy,

P.S.: Stay tuned - a 4-part walkthrough video by Sound Author will follow shortly!

Some nice sounds in there. How did I forget about Hive's XY pad?

That's an awesome soundset Bryan! Heaps of fun to play with, and very pleasing to my ears. I was amazed how quickly a track could come together just layering a few of those patches with basic chords. Thanks!

Wonderful sounds! A great pairing for NI's West Africa, and PolyPlex

A little bit of Kinesis, with some subtle piano/beats from ProteusVX
It's easy to play for hours and hours with these sounds!

Nice one. It really is easy to make great sounding stuff with this soundset. Here's a quick one (with 3 parts), using:
* Grey Clouds
* Cold Flashes
* Pulsating Plux
* Diatonica
* Beauty and Filth
* Drifting Harp
* Twinkle & Perc
And a kickdrum done with GeonKick, though I could have used some of the complex percussion patches in the set, I just wanted to try my hand with GeonKick courtesy of seeing unfa do it so effortlessly on YouTube
Doesn't sound too bad as a 32kbit (!) opus file either .. just to get it under 1mb.

Thats a very cheery creation, with some nice mysteries added. Hope a long album version is on the way Thanks for mentioning the Opus format. Sound quality is fine, although I needed a good read-up about the benefits of opus format. I used ffmpeg to convert a 500 meg .wav file, to a 37 meg opus version at the default rate, and couldn't hear a difference in casual A/B listening. Will help when giving out songs on a micro-sd. Will have to do some experiments.
Unfa has been a prolific and unpretentious source in recent years, doing videos on the fly etc.
A plug for Ploki's Hive skin, 'Swarm'
Cheers
