Andrew Macaulay releases "Andrew Macaulay's Modules" for Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular
Andrew Macaulay has released Andrew Macaulay's Modules for Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular. The release includes five new modules across the General Utilities, Envelopes and the Switches and Mixers Collections - bringing the number of Voltage Modular modules available from Andrew Macaulay to 36 in total.
In addition, this release includes a number of enhancements to nine of the existing modules as well as fixes/general improvements to many others.
The five new modules are:
- MIDI Display in the General Utilities Collection, a simple MIDI display utility with filtering by channel and message type.
- CV Delay and Triple CV Processor, Delay LFO and Mini-Delay LFO modules in the renamed Envelopes and LFO Collection. These three modules provide delay/fade envelopes plus mixing of other, typically keyboard control voltages, to control the modulation of vibrato, tremolo, filter, etc. Two modules include an LFO to make for a comprehensive performance aid.
- Wave Mixer module in the Switches and Mixers Collection, which provides blended, additive and AM-style mixing of audio or LFO waves from any device, all with CV control, providing for wave shaping and wave folding type capabilities.
Many of the existing modules now have improved handling of time-based controls, with selectable mid-points when being used in log-mode (for usability and personal preference). There are also many other new features that have been included across many modules, details of which can be found in the release notes and the on-line help pages on the main website.
Price: Between $10 and $15 (and two free notes panels), collections of multiple modules at a significant discount or in Andrew Macaulay's Ultimate Bundle of all 36 existing modules at a price of under $50. The modules will automatically be included in the existing collections of users, including the Ultimate Bundle of all the modules.
Note that these modules are all software modules that can be used on Windows and Mac, and provide add-on capabilities for (and require) Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular.
