Archetype Instruments release "Arc 5" Synth for Windows VST

Archetype Instruments has announced the release of Arc 5, a software synthesizer for Windows that has "5 different synthesizer in 2 layers under 1 philosophy". It is designed to generate various sound ranges with extremely few parameters to make sound easy and fast.

Features:

  • VA: Virtual analogue synthesizer that simulates famous vintage analogue filter and oscillator:
    • 1 Multimode oscillator (saw, pulse and pulse width modulation).
    • Analogue modeling -24db/oct low pass filter.
  • 7S: Emulates the Supersaw sound with "Mathematically" generated 7 sawtooth waveform:
    • 1 Multi sawtooth oscillator.
    • Analogue modeling -12db/oct high pass and -24db/oct low pass filter that routed in series.
  • FM: Worlds easiest FM synthesizer:
    • 1 Operator with 17 pre-defined modular pitch.
    • Negative and Positive feedback control.
  • WG: Physical modeling synthesizer to simulate string and plucked sound:
    • Waveguide synthesis.
    • Coil factor for additional harmonics.
    • Cabinet simulator to make body resonance sound.
  • EL: Extreme lead sound from hard synced unison voices.
    • Up to 16 voices unison.
    • Hard sync modulated sawtooth oscillator.
  • Arpeggiator: Multimode arpeggiator that can make dynamic phrase pattern:
    • Pitch sequencing and velocity controlling step sequencer.
    • 6 classic arpeggiator mode.
  • Effector: Advanced and easy to use multi-effect processor:
    • Distortion effect with speaker cabinet simulation.
    • Super chorus effect by multi LFOs and delay lines.
    • BPM synced cross feedback delay.
    • Advanced reverb including early reflection and simulated tails.

Price: $49.95. Standalone and VSTi plug-in for Windows.
