Audio Modeling has updated SWAM Violin to version 3.7.1. The new version has essential fixes.

Desktop Version Fixes:

  • Font corruption that caused performance and instability issues (macOS only) has been resolved.
  • When exporting presets, replacing an existing file could potentially create a corrupted preset. This issue has been fixed.
  • In Ableton Live, the plugin didn't receive pitch bend data when "Enable MPE Mode" was enabled for SWAM Solo Brass. This issue has been addressed.
  • In Ableton Live, pitch bend was not received when "Enable MPE Mode" was turned on for SWAM Solo Woodwinds and SWAM Solo Strings. This issue has been fixed.
  • The Native FileChooser couldn't be closed when hosted in Cantabile or Reason Studio (Windows only). This issue has been resolved.
  • Cross-Platform plugin state: Saving a state on iPadOS and restoring it on macOS didn't properly restore the state. This issue has been fixed.
  • Transpose was not working correctly with Microtuning for SWAM Solo Brass. This issue has been resolved.
  • There was distortion on mid-high dynamics for SWAM Solo Strings. This issue has been addressed.

AppStore version Fixes:

  • The iOS Standalone App was crashing with certain audio interfaces (e.g., Scarlett) due to non-standardized sample rate values. This issue has been fixed.
  • When exporting presets, replacing an existing file could potentially create a corrupted preset. This issue has been addressed.

This update is free for SWAM owners and can be downloaded from the Audio Modeling Software Center for desktop users. For iOS users, the update is available on the App Store.
