Audiofile Engineering has updated Wave Editor to v1.1.5.

Changes:

  • Added true multi-channel output (based on number of channels in document & channels available on output device).
  • Added choosable output device (Preferences>General).
  • Added full native support for Core Audio Format files (.caf).
  • Improved sound quality of fades (addressed potential "zipper noise").
  • CD-based time format (75 frames/sec).
  • MIDI playback channel & behavior is unique to a document (found in Playback bar options).
  • Improved ruler display at high magnifications with certain time units.
  • Improved Edit name display.
  • Double-clicking a Fade in the Layers table will scroll the fade object into view.
  • Sliding a layer will now also shift labels accordingly.
  • Fixed an issue with SDII files possibly scrambling regions/tracks in Roxio's Jam.
  • Fixed an issue with "Save <label> as..." erroneously reporting potential over-writing.
  • Fixed an issue shifting fades with a layer.
  • Fixed an issue snapping near the beginning of a file.
  • Fixed the potential for both the Labels and Layers drawers to be open simultaneously on the same edge.
  • Fixed the potential for files other than templates displaying in the appropriate templates menus.
  • Prevented the possibility of naming a template "Default" or "Factory" to avoid confusion.
  • Fixed the potential for lockups when moving the playback head to a new location during playback.
