Aurchitect has updated Aura to v1.2, adding a Goniometer to the real-time audio analysis suite for macOS.
A Goniometer shows the difference between two channels as a Lissajous figure. But Aura's Goniometer takes it many steps further:
- 64-bit audio accuracy.
- Level-accurate measurements, so it also has configurable rulers.
- Trace persistence to make it look smoother.
- Mirrored stereograph and inverted stereograph to take advantage of the full meter area.
- Flexible overlays for identifying danger or safe areas.
- True crosshairs that show level and angle.
- Peak hold.
- Utilizes Metal, the macOS optimized drawing engine.
To celebrate, Aura will be on sale throughout February for $99.
