Bad Cat Media Group releases "The Mini Keys" and updates "The Music Box" for Kontakt and EXS 24

Bad Cat Media Group has announced the release of its first product in "The Pickup Series" - a free sample series.

Each sample is recorded through a hum-bucker guitar pickup. The result is a very clean sample with a low noise floor recorded at 24-bit / 48kHz.

Volume #1 in The Pickup Series is The Mini Keys. A tiny toy keyboard with a very distinct 8-bit sound. Mini Keys comes with a basic patch including three fx (bit crusher, distortion and chorus). Also included is an arpeggiator patch with velocity control, time stretching, randomization and the ability to control the sequencer steps in real time which is where the real experimental sounds come from.

The Pickup Series is available in both Kontakt 4.2.4+ and EXS24 formats and both are totally free to download at badcatmediagroup.com.

Bad Cat Media Group has also just finished an update to their debut library "The Music Box".

Updates include.

• Warmth control.
• Stereo width control.
• Reverb.
• A newly programmed "clean" patch.
• And an updated user interface.

All of the original patches are still included along with the updated look. The update is free for current users. The Music Box costs $19.99 for new customers.
