Ben Anderson has announced the release of V-DS (Virtual Digital Sampler) v1.1, which is a software recreation of vintage lo-fi samplers like the Yamaha Vss30 and Casio SK1.
Features include:

- Sample playback at 10.113KHz with 8-bit resolution.
- Digital ADSR envelope.
- Analogue-modelled filter with resonance.
- Load two samples at once and layer them together.
- Dedicated filter LFO.
- Six Classic 80s sounds built into the samplers ROM.
- Mouse Keyboard for previewing your samples quickly.
- Support for Loop Points in user samples.
V-DS costs £8 and is available as a VST instrument plug-in for Windows.
