Black Lion Audio announces Revolution 6x6 audio interface
Black Lion Audio has introduced the Revolution 6x6, a high-end portable recording interface. As part of their expanding product lineup, it serves as a versatile studio tool, functioning as a master clock, standalone DAC, headphone amp, and a six-input/six-output USB interface. It incorporates technology such as Macro-MMC for reduced jitter and enhanced harmonics as well as proprietary PG-1 filtering technology and highly-filtered power rails contribute to noise reduction.
The Revolution 6x6 boasts Vishay, Nichicon, and Wima capacitors, optimized gain-staging, and fully decoupled and balanced analog I/O. With two high-headroom mic preamps, VU level meter, input/playback mix knob, and headphone amplifier connections, it provides a versatile recording solution in a small, portable form. The rear panel features decoupled main analog outputs, word clock, high-end S/PDIF input/output, USB OTG for mobile device connectivity, and low-latency USB to computer.
Notably, the Revolution 6x6 can function without a computer, with its DAC, word clock, and D/A conversion features accessible through a standalone mode. The package includes the Revolution Software Suite with recording and sequencing DAW, selected plug-ins for tone-shaping, mastering, and more.
The Revolution 6x6 is set to start shipping through Black Lion Audio's global network of dealers and distributors at the end of October 2023. It comes with a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) of $549.00 USD and a Suggested Selling Price (SSP) of €699.00 EUR, including VAT.
