Cacophony Inc. releases 'Cinematic Tension FX' - Suspense FX Morphing Engine for Kontakt
Cacophony has released Cinematic Tension FX for Kontakt.
The Cinematic Tension FX Suspense FX Morphing Engine was developed by a team of composers, sound designers and programmers with the express intention of designing a unique instrument that can be used for a range of film-scoring scenarios especially tension, suspense and horror.
Cinematic Tension FX is essentially an experiment in sound design and forms the foundation for a larger forthcoming library based around tempo-synced morphing technology.
The Cinematic FX morphing function allows 2 sounds to be simultaneously played and blended together. So a vocal chant can be combined with a flute to create interesting sonic textures that evolve and blend over time.
Each sound can be manipulated and then saved as a Preset. Presets can be recalled using dynamic keyswitching and then 'morphed' together using the modwheel.
Sounds:
- Woodwind EFX: Frank Macchia.
- Electric Guitar EFX: John Hoy.
- Female Vocal EFX: Tracy London.
- String EFX: Moscow Symphony Orchestra.
Price: £12.99.
