Craft Audio announced the availability Sub Bass Lab, a collection of synth bass instruments or Kontakt 5 with a focus on Trap 808's and Sub Bass for Electronic Music.
"We paid a lot of attention to the recording and editing of the samples. Things like tweaking attack phases, recreating 808 Kick circuits with modular synth components and tuning of the instruments. The result is a potential go-to candidate when it comes to deep analog bass and 808's for Kontakt." said Nico Duda founder of Craft Audio.
Modular 808 is based on Eurorack Modular Patches. Just like the original 808 Kick circuit, it uses filter resonances instead of oscillators for tone generation. Ranging from clean to raw and dirty 808 sub kicks.
Modular Sub module contains 10 different waveforms of some rare high-end analog oscillators. It has all classic waveforms like Sine, Triangle, Saw, and Square, plus some variations designed for extra punchy synth basses.
Sub Synth Bass is based on a subtractive analog synthesizer with its famous Moog Filter and warm sounding multidrive circuit. This module contains both, 808s by pinging the filter and classic oscillator based synth basses.
Pro 808 rounds off this collection of modern bass instruments featuring the sound of the well known Curtis Chips. Using multiple oscillators in combination with resonating filters made it possible to design more complex waveforms. It is the Prophet of Sub Bass.
