Crocus Soundware releases "Liminal: Vocal Textures Volume 1" for Kontakt - 40% off Intro Offer
Crocus Soundware has released Liminal: Vocal Textures Volume 1 for Kontakt, a sample library of closely recorded human vocalizations. They Say:
The library's articulations are expressive and evolving, with the performer imparting character and movement into each sample. The performers were miked closely using large diaphragm condenser microphones, capturing breath and close details into the sample.
The user-interface allows articulations to be layered, mixed and reversed. LFO controls can be enabled, allowing your DAW's tempo to dictate the modulation of an individual layer's volume. This opens the door for tempo-synced swells and unleashes even more creative possibilities for evolving texture.
Sample banks can be triggered via both the UI and keyswitching. There is also a dynamics slider which controls the entire instrument's gain independent of the instrument-level volume control. Finally, there is functionality to control ADSR at the instrument level, which can be optionally switched to the traditional articulation-level ADSR control.
