Cytomic updates The Glue to support Apple Silicon and VST3

Cytomic's The Glue has been updated to v1.6.6 with support for VST3 on both Windows and macOS, and adds support for Apple Silicon (universal binary) on macOS. This is a free update to all existing customers.

Changes:

  • New: VST3 support including external side-chain input.
  • New: Apple Silicon native builds on macOS of VST2, VST3, AAXv2 and AUv2.
  • New: SIMD optimisations for both Intel / AMD (x64 SSE2) and Apple Silicon (Arm NEON).
  • New: better HiDPI support on Windows.
  • New: discontinued releasing 32-bit versions of Windows plugins.
