Emvoice Releases Vocoder-Inspired Virtual Singer Named Thomas + Key New Features In Major Update

-
Emvoice

Emvoice, the vocal synthesis company, has released their third voice for the Emvoice One plugin: a vocoder named Thomas. The company also unveiled some key new features for all voices: Alternate takes, true formant shifting, and major improvements to tone and quality.

Each voice - Lucy, Jay, and Thomas - runs on constantly improving voice engine technology, and now come equipped with ten presets each. Developed by deep-sampling recordings of pro singers, the company hopes to empower musicians with instant access to vocals directly from their DAW. To create vocals with the software, users simply enter one note for each syllable of lyrics.

Musicians have been able to recreate just about every instrument other than the human voice with perfect accuracy for well over a decade now. Imagine how much creativity would be unlocked if we could change this.

Rodolphe Ollivier, CEO and founder

From February 21st until 6 PM EST on February 24th, Thomas will be on sale for $59, while Lucy and Jay can be accessed for $99. The free tier includes unlimited access to eight notes per voice, and the full range can be purchased from within the plugin.
