hollyhook releases midiHook - MIDI Controller driven by wearable motion and smartphone sensors for Android and Windows
hollyhook has released midiHook, a MIDI controller which generates MIDI out from various sensor measurements on Android wearables and smartphones.
midHook consists of an Android app, and a companion VST plugin running on Windows PCs. The app is available on Google Play.
Features:
- Supported sensors of both mobile and wearable: accelerometer, gravity, and linear acceleration.
- Sensors on mobile only: Light, GPS distances from starting point, proximity, compass orientation.
- Experimental: If supported by the wearable, MIDIHook generates also MIDI out of the measured heartrate.
